Simply NFC is a powerful, user-friendly NFC writer/reader that offers accessibility and convenience. By simply tapping the "Read NFC" button, users can effortlessly scan NFC tags by placing the back of their phone to the tag. No additional hardware is required. The app efficiently reads and stores tag content in the history, automatically opening the corresponding app or function on the device. The app even supports HomeKit scenes, enabling users to trigger preconfigured scenes with ease. Furthermore, the app features voiceover accessibility and allows users to create text tags that read contents aloud, enhancing its usefulness for item tagging.

Simply NFC offers writing capabilities for various tag types such as text, HomeKit, URL, and more on iOS 13 and above. Users can export scanned history to txt tab-delimited, csv comma-delimited, or csv tab-delimited files, which proves useful for event tracking. Additionally, Siri shortcuts enable users to prompt Siri to scan single or multiple tags.

The app also includes a widget for quick access to scanning tags and viewing history, as well as an iMessage extension for easy sharing of history. Simply NFC supports a wide range of tag contents including text content, URL content, vCard contact content, SMS content, email content, telephone content, app launching content, custom Uri content, location content, HomeKit scene content, and wifi configuration content.

Users can trigger HomeKit scenes by scanning tags with the URL format "https://lakesidellama.com/app?hk=SCENE_NAME." The designated scene will be triggered upon tag scanning. Moreover, the app enables remote triggering of the NFC scanner on Apple Watch devices.
